Meet the Team

JoAnn Erikson, Founder

JoAnn has been in the legal profession since 1980 and founded Decisions Won in 2001. Prior to that JoAnn was the owner/founder of Southwest Jury Consulting and provided paralegal services to multiple prominent law firms in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.  

She brings extensive knowledge of juries nationwide from hundreds of jury selections and years of trial consulting, primarily in civil defense.

Janelle Suttner, Partner

Janelle joined Decisions Won in January of 2022 with an in-depth understanding of how people think. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and started her career in the non-profit sector. She then earned an MBA from Texas Christian University and continued her career in consumer product goods, understanding consumer behavior, and bringing new products and messages to market on billion-dollar brands at a Fortune 500 company. Janelle has since led nearly 100 mock trials and assisted in over 50 jury selections.

Jessica Dennis, Esq., Consultant

Jessica joined Decisions Won in 2023 with nearly 20 years of experience as a trial attorney. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from University of Cincinnati and her Juris Doctorate degree in 2004 from University of Akron School of Law, she went on to represent companies and individuals in multiple areas of litigation, including tort defense, trademark and copyright disputes, construction litigation, and class-action matters, to name a few.  She is admitted to the New Mexico State Bar and has been licensed in Colorado and Ohio and various federal courts. Her background provides comprehensive insight into legal process and trial strategy.
